A painter in oil, acrylics and watercolor, illustrator and teacher, Constance McMillan lived primarily in Ann Arbor, Michigan and briefly in Colorado and New York state. From 1949 to 1951, she was an instructor in painting, design and art history at the San Luis School in Colorado Springs. The following two years she taught those subjects at the Emma Willard School in Troy, New York, and from 1962 to 63 was a teacher at the Angel School in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
