| | Born in California on May 24, 1893. Monsen was a resident of Los Angeles in the 1920s and active as an artist. He appears to have abandoned art in the 1930s to become a public relations consultant. In 1953 he settled in Santa Barbara where he remained until his demise on March 17, 1976. | Source:
