Dan Miller was artist-in-residence at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and now serves head of the Graduate Department.
Artist's Statement:
The only true artist’s statement is the work itself. Verbalizations
are, at best, peripheral and are so often misleading. Words may seek to
describe what is not. I have so often felt that there is a problem with
art which needs to be explained and with artist who feel the compulsion
