Denise LaRue Mahlke finds her inspiration in the rugged landscape and vast sky of the American West and in the subtle beauty and diversity of her native Texas, where she also teaches art classes and workshops.
Denise has been an Invited Artist to the Maynard Dixon Country exhibition of the Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts from 2003-2010, winning awards in 2003 and 2004.
