The following information is from the artist, whose web site is

A Signature member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild, Diana Madaras has been featured in seven one-woman shows.  Her painting, The Blues of Old Main, was commissioned for the cover of the Arizona Alumni Magazine that is mailed to 150,000 University of Arizona graduates and is only the second artist's work in the last fifteen years to be featured on the cover.

She has completed commissions for the Sheraton and Loews resorts, and has created eight paintings for the estate of the former president of Mexico.  She is also featured twice a year at Nordstrom's department store in Scottsdale.

Madaras is active in community service and donates many paintings and prints to charitable causes.  Her annual art engagement calendar benefits the Arthritis Foundation, and in 1999, she established "Art for Animals" Foundation to generate funds via art-related events for animals in need, and particularly focuses on the prevention of animal abuse.  The Foundation is the beneficiary of proceeds from her annual Southwest Art wall calendar.

Her work has been featured in the following publications: Desert Leaf, Tucson Citizen, Inside Tucson Business, Tucson, Lifestyle" (Tucson, Arizona); Artbook Arizona (Scottsdale); Watercolor Magazine, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Observer in Toms River, New Jersey.
