| The following information was sent to AskART by Naia Barber, whose parents knew the artist in Prescott, Arizona:
Known for his pin-up calendar girl illustrations, Earl MacPherson had his first successful calendar, "The Artist's Sketchpad," released in 1940, and the following year, his most successful pin-up, "Going Places," was published. Many of his works were for the publishers Brown and Bigelow in the post World War II years.
He lived in his later years in Prescott, Arizona and did western oil painting. |
