Edith Montlack (1914-2003)
Born 1914 in New York City, Edith Montlack was awarded a scholarship to the Metropolitan Art School and continued her studies at the National Academy in NY under Louis Bouche in addition to taking private studies in the US and abroad.
Her paintings have won many prizes, including the Emil Kohn Medal, the St. Gauden's Medal and the Grumbacher Award. Miss Montlack also won the National Association of Women Artists' prize for watercolors at tha (showing 500 of 1758 characters). |
