Eline McKnight, printmaker*, painter, and pastel* artist, was born to Dutch parents in Yokohama, Japan, in 1910. She lived and studied in New York, attending Barnard College and Teachers College, Columbia University; Art Students League*, NY; and Yale School of Fine Arts*, as well as various schools in Japan and Holland.
In 1964 she conducted discussion groups on looking at modern art for the Ford Fund Adult Education program, and was a member of the editorial staff for the New York (showing 500 of 1118 characters). |
