| Emil (Emile)Tissot Mazy was born in Rosée, Belgium on Dec. 27, 1865. Mazy graduated from the Academy Royal in Brussels. He immigrated to New York City in 1897 and soon settled in Los Angeles where he began teaching at the School of Art and Design. He died in Los Angeles on June 6, 1943.
Exhibited: Blanchard Gallery (Los Angeles), 1907.
