| Born in the Black Forest of Germany, Emilie MacIntyre became a painter
in modernist style and also a printmaker. She lived in Seattle,
Washington and Kentfield, California.
She studied at the
University of Washington and was a member of the the Northwest Art
Association. She was married to Charles S. MacIntyre.
Emilie MacIntyre did not paint very long, and the majority of her work was destroyed in a studio fire.
