| Emma Jane Mcorn in Nevada on Oct. 5, 1878. McCall moved to California in 1889. She studied at the California School of Fine Arts, California College of Arts & Crafts, UC Berkeley (M.A.), and the New York School of Fine & Applied Arts. While living in Berkeley, she taught art at University of California in 1915-65 and at the California College of Arts & Crafts in 1931-35. A spinster, she died in Berkeley on Feb. 13, 1965.
