The following biography, submitted March 2006 by Martin Willis, is from
the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmark Society, with permission.
Esther Meyer always lived her life to the hilt. Growing up in a
small Oregon town, she decided she "didn't want to be born, marry and
die without ever having lived." So at the age of 19, even though
Marshfield (now Coos Bay) residents rarely left their hometown, Esther
boarded a train bound for Washington, DC and spent over a ye (showing 500 of 6596 characters). |
