I am the niece of Eugenie Marie Marron who died in the year 1999 - She was 99 years old. She was written up in many newspapers regarding her charitable works. She had a home in New York City which she sold and she then wintered in Palm Beach, FL., spending the summers in Brielle, New Jersey. She received her masters degree in fine arts from Columbia University, NYC. Her achievements were many as well as receiving seven world records for deep sea fishing.
A student of Alexander Archipenko and Fernand Leger, Eugenie Marron studied at the Art Students League in New York City and was a member of the National Association of Women Artists. She was a painter, illustrator, and sculptor and exhibited at the Salons of America and with the Society of Independent Artists.

She illustrated and wrote several books including "Albacora", about the adventures of her and her husband deep-sea fishing off the coast of Peru, and "Caught in the Act", a book of caricatures.
