An Impressionist figure painter, Eva Makk was born in Ethiopia and moved to Honolulu with her artist husband, Americo Makk, in 1967. Her father was a diplomat, and her mother was an Hungarian baroness. She began painting at age four, studied art in Paris and graduated summa cum laude from the Rome Academy of Fine Arts where she met her husband.
Together they were official government artists in Brazil, and they painted huge murals. At one time, on a painting expedition, they spent thirteen (showing 500 of 764 characters). |
