| Evalyn Virginia Mitchell was born in Berkeley, CA on Dec. 16, 1907. “Eve” Mitchell studied at UC under Boynton and Obata, and at the CSFA under Stackpole. She was a resident of Berkeley in the 1930s and active in the local art scene. She later lived in Napa, CA until her demise in Stanislaus County, CA on Nov. 29, 1995.
