A painter of a variety of subjects in a variety of styles including
realism, impressionism, fauvism, and cubism, Evelyn Metzger has painted
many urban genre scenes of New York City.
In 1950, she had a
major exhibition in Argentina and then exhibited in France, Mexico and
the United States. Her work is in the Museum of Women in the Arts in
Washington D.C.
