| Florence Louise Bryant MacKenzie was born in Boston, MA on Oct. 4, 1890. Florence Bryant studied at the CGA, Nat'l School of Fine & Applied Arts, and the Philadelphia School of Design for Women. An early marriage (1918-25) to J. M. Condon ended in divorce, and in 1933 she married artist Frank J. MacKenzie. She then maintained studios in San Francisco and Washington, DC. At the latter she was the head artist for Bureau of Exhibits and U.S. Forestry Service from 1917-42 (showing 500 of 855 characters). |
