Born Topeka, January 19, 1888 and died Topeka, January 1983, Frances
Wardin was a painter who specialized in landscapes and portraits.
She studied at the New York Art School and was a pupil of Robert
Henri. In 1930, she owned a jewelry store in Topeka and lived at
1131 Western.
She was a Kansas artist in the Federal Art Project, 1939 and lived at 617 W. 143 St., NY and at 923 W. 16th St., Topeka. (showing 433 of 1082 characters). |
