| Frances Storan Malony was born in Ireland in 1858. Frances was the wife of John S. Malony. While a resident of Berkeley in 1897-1900, she studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute and made painting trips to the Monterey Peninsula. By 1910 she was living in San Diego.
