| A well-known illustrator during the 1920s and 1930s, George Mabie is best known as a cartoonist whose clients included "Collier's", "Liberty", and "The Saturday Evening Post".
He began his education at the National Academy School in New York where he was a friend and classmate of Norman Rockwell.
