Primarily a sculptor of wildlife, McMonigle has also created portrait busts and religious figure statues. Born in 1951 in Hawaii, he attended Temple University, The Tyler School of Fine Art from 1970 to 1974. He began his career working in porcelain but now mainly works in bronze.
