 The following information was submitted in June of 2006 by Dennis Carmichael: She was born in Indianapolis in1893 and passed away in 1941. She received an MS in 1927 from Indiana University and her Masters work on Indian oral history is still available. While at IU she studied with T. C. Steele and later with William Forsyth at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis. She exhibited at the Hoosier Salon in both 1933 and 1934 won several prizes at the Indiana State fair in the 1930s.
Her works are in private collections and also at the Morris Art Museum in Georgia.
