Middleton was a resident of Hayward, California during the 1930s. After graduating from the CCAC in 1939, she headed the art department at Fort Bragg, California High School.

A noted art teacher and abstract expressionist painter, she studied with William Gaw, Max Beckman, and others, while completing her Master's degree at Mills College. She was a sought after art jurist throughout her career, painting and exhibiting un (showing 500 of 904 characters). |
