|  The following biography, submitted October 2004, has been provided by Terry L. Carpenter, a Carpenter family historian:
Hazel C. Massey was a painter active in San Antonio, Texas, in the 1950s or 1960s. Her business card pasted on the back of one of her landscapes reads: "Landscapes in Oils, Studio: 531 Larkwood Drive, San Antonio, Tex., [Tel.] TA2-5126,"
She appears to be the Hazel Massey who was born 28 Jan 1907 and died 25 Aug 1990 in San Antonio, Bexar Co. TX.
