| | Hector Michie was born in California on July 21, 1900. After graduating from the California College of Arts & Crafts in 1925, Michie moved to Los Angeles where he worked as art director for Barker Brothers Furniture for 40 years. He died in Loma Linda, California on Feb. 21, 1980. | Source:
