Henry Malfroy ( b. January 15, 1895, in Martinique; died in 1944)
He was a postimpressionist painter of landscapes and seascapes. He could be the son of Charles Malfroy, with whom he is often confused. He exhibited regularly in Paris, at the Salon of French Artists and of Independents. With Charles Malfroy, he painted the hillsides and ports of Bouches-du-Rhone and of Var. He also painted some Paris landscapes.
