Henry Muhrman, born in 1854 in Cincinnati, Ohio, painted landscapes and the figure in oil, watercolor and pastel. After exhibiting in the Armory Show in 1913, he died only three years later in 1916 in Meissen, Germany at the age of sixty-two. He studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy and the Munich Academy of Fine Art in Germany.
Muhrman exhibited at the Munich Academy of Fine Art in 1877, where he received a gold medal at the very young age of twenty-three. Other exhibitions include the N (showing 500 of 3411 characters). |
