| | Born in Visalia, CA on March 5, 1886. During 1898-99 Mooney studied in San Francisco at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute while employed by the park commission. He later moved down the peninsula to Redwood City where he remained until his death on June 14, 1949. | Source:
