| | Hugh McConville was born in Quebec, Canada on Aug. 12, 1867. McConville moved to southern California in 1887 and settled in Temecula. During the 1920s he worked as an artist in San Diego. His last years were spent in Los Angeles as a real estate agent. He died there in an auto accident on Dec. 9, 1932. | Source:
