International artist Ilene Meyer passed away at her Gig Harbor home surrounded by her friends on June 3, 2009. Ilene was born in Seattle, Washington on December 30th, 1939.
Ilene, inspired as a child by her mother's artwork, was self taught. At the age of thirty, she dedicated her life to the pursuit of her art. A master of many art forms, Ilene was self described as a surrealist with a twist; "a combination of reality, fantasy, and realism". Her work sho (showing 500 of 2318 characters). |
