J.P. Marsh (known by family as James Harvey Marsh), studied in the
Herron Art School at the same time Wayman Adams, Simon P. Baus and Carl
C. Graf were also attending the art school. "Later, Mr. Marsh
studied in the Art Students League in New York City. Added to his
study of painting, there has also been a study of sculpture.
Among his teachers in sculpture were Arturo Colancia of Forlence,
Italy, Lachine of New Orleans and Schwarz of Indianapolis.
