Biography from AskART:
| | From Edina, Minnesota, he is known for dramatic wildlife depictions. He received his bachelors degree in fine arts in 1964 and then served in Vietnam. He attended graduate school at the University of Minnesota and taught for ten years. The turning point of his career was winning the 1980 Minnesota Duck Stamp award. He is in the Wildlife and Western Art Hall of Fame. |
