| A teacher in the continuing education department of the Massachusetts
College of Art and Design in Boston, Janet Monafo is known for her
still life pastel painting and is a member of the Pastel Society's Hall
of Fame since 2002. She has also had grants from the National
Endowment for the Arts and the New England Foundation for the
Arts. Exhibition venues include the National Academy of Design
and the Institute of Arts and Letters in New York City and the National
Portrait Gall (showing 500 of 863 characters). |
