| Born in San Francisco, CA on June 12, 1871. MacQuarrie studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. He was a lifelong resident of San Francisco with a studio at 1370 Sutter Street. He died on Nov. 24, 1944. Exh: Mechanics' Inst. (SF), 1896. Works: McKinley statue (Golden Gate Park); Bear Flag Monument (Sonoma); Donner Lake Monument.
