| The eldest son of American expressionist Dan McCaw, and brother of painter Danny McCaw, John was raised in an artistic environment. Working closely with his father and surrounded by books, art and creative discussions, John McCaw has developed a unique vision. He absorbs his environment, studies painters, past and present, and places no limits on his imagination, and these attributes enable him to bring to his canvas not only his sensitivities but also his heart.
