Biography from Butler Institute of American Art:
"I divide my time these days roughly between emphasis on collage and emphasis on other painting, both oils and watercolors.   I'm afraid at this point I must take refuge in a statement which, while already a cliche, is the most accurate expression I can think of: Any statement concerning my work should probably be left to the work itself.  If I were more adept at describing my ojbectives verbally, I suppose I would be more interested in writing than in painting."
