A landscape and marine painter, Joseph Mendez is a native of Spain and emigrated to the United States in 1962 after a successful career in commercial art.

He has lived in California for over thirty years, settling in Culver City from where he has had a successful career teaching and painting including workshops in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Scottsdale Artists' School.  He studied with the Famous Artists Schools in Westport, Connecticut and was a scholarship student of the lat (showing 500 of 790 characters).
