| Born in Caldwell, New Jersey, she was described as a sculptor, painter,
cratfsman, writer and teacher but little further information is
available. She studied art with Charles Hawthorne and Richard Hayley
Lever at the New York School of Fine and Applied Art. She also studied
at the Pratt Institute and Columbia University. Her summer home was
Nantucket, Massachusetts, but she lived primarily in Caldwell, New
Jersey. She was a member of the American Artists Professional League,
the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, and the New Association of
Women Artists.
