| Julia Bartlett Menke was born in Nevada on February 1, 1873. Menke was a resident of Ukiah in the 1890s. She soon settled in San Francisco where she painted Chinatown genre. She died there on September 1, 1943.
Exhibited: California State Fair, 1891.
