| Julius Milstein was born in New York on Oct. 9, 1913. By the late 1930s "Jules" Milstein had settled in Los Angeles. For 30 years he worked as a contractor in the construction business while painting in his leisure. His later years were spent in Denver, CO. He died in San Diego, CA on March 3, 1987.
