Kate Reno Miller was born in 1874 in Illinois. She then moved to Cincinnati where she studied at the Cincinnati Museum Association Art School and later at its successor, the Art Academy in the mid-1880s. From 1901 until her death, she taught at the Art Academy and exhibited with the Women’s Art Club and Society of Western Artists. Miller specialized in landscape and still-life painting.
