| Katharine Patton was born in Philadelphia. She was a pupil of Cox, Hawthorne and Snell in New York and of Frank Brangwyn in London. She was a member of the National Academy of Women Painters and Sculptors, the Philadelphia Watercolor Club, the Fellowship of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Plastic Club and the Philadelphia Art Alliance. The artist exhibited regularly at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Annuals from 1915 through 1938 and was the recipient of many awards inc (showing 500 of 872 characters). |
