Katherine Mitchell was born in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1944, and lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. She has taught at Emory University, where she is Senior Lecturer in drawing and painting, for more than twenty years. She holds a BFA from the Atlanta College of Art (1968), did post-graduate work in Rome, Italy, and received her MFA from Georgia State University (1977). Mitchell works abstractly in drawing and painting in vari (showing 500 of 1664 characters). |
