Post War California artist, Keith Metzler studied sculpture in New York with Jules Olitski and painting with Robert Neuman in 1954. From 1955-1959 he studied at the California School of Fine Arts, receiving his B.F.A. and his M.F.A. from the University of California in 1960. Metzler also taught at the Corcoran Museum School of Art in 1962.
