Biography from Red Raven Gallery:
| Lynn Stephens Massey was born in Louisville, Kentucky and grew up in San Diego, California. She received her BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. She continued her study of illustration at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and spent a year abroad in Paris, France studying at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts.
In 1981 she moved to New York to work as a freelance illustrator for books, magazines, and advertising. Since 1990, she has lived in Rowayton, Connecticut where she works as a watercolor artists, showing in galleries and receiving commissions.
