| By the 1920s Margaret D. Moore Ewert was a skilled painter of the Indians of Arizona. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago in the early 1930s, married a man named Ewert, and returned to the Southwest. She painted in Arizona, New Mexico, and made painting trips to southern California. Exhibited: Art Institute of Chicago, 1931, 1933.
