Marie Clark (Mrs. Henry W.) Miller was born near Springville, UT on June 27, 1892. Marie Clark studied at Brigham Young University, UC, UCLA, Columbia University, and AIC. By the 1930s she was the wife of Henry W. Miller and had settled in Glendale, CA. She was an occasional actress and active in the local art scene until her death in Glendale on March 30, 1962.

Member: AAPL; Calif. Art Club; Nat'l League of American Pen Women.

Exh: Utah State Fair, 1908 (1st prize); Montana State Fair, 1921 (1st prize); Art Teachers Ass'n of So. Calif., 1922; Des Moines Library, 1934 (solo); Glendale AA, 1945-52; Springville (UT) Nat'l Art Show, 1950, 1960; Nat'l Gallery (Washington, DC), 1950; American Artist Professional League, 1952-55; Las Artistas (LA), 1953-55; Salmagundi Club (NYC), 1960.

Works Held: Young University (Provo, UT); Dixie College (St George, UT).
