| | Marion Edward McAninch was born in Wisconsin on Sept. 3, 1898. By the 1920s McAninch had settled in San Francisco. He then spent 45 years working for Traung Lithograph Company. In his leisure he created cartoons and painted fine art. He died in Sausalito, CA on Sept. 8, 1983. | Source:
