This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Marion Isabel Miller was born in St. Charles. Illinois. She developed her craft at the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied under Mr. Vanderpoel in the 1890s. During the summer of 1906 she went to Gloucester, Mass. to study with a world renowned English lady. During this time an article was written about her in the Boston Globe.
Later she married a childhood friend, Dr. William R. Bagley and moved first to Talent, Oregon and later to Duluth, Minnesota where she died in the 1960s. She is noted for her commercial work for Nister Postcards and advertisements for Jap Rose Soap.
