Marjorie Mason was born in New York City in 1955. She graduated from The Shipley School in 1974 and received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1981. Her work in monotype and oils is an expression of Martha’s Vineyard land and seascapes, as well as the quality of light unique to that region.
She has been working in monotype for over 25 years, developing her own technique and process. Her paintings are done in a traditional method of oil painting. Her process of paint (showing 500 of 946 characters). |
